Betty Zane Wood

Betty Zane Wood, 77, of Pleasant Plains, departed this life on Thursday, October 13, 2022.  She was born in Drasco, Arkansas on December 18,1944 to Clifford Monroe Killion and Rita Marie Wells Killion.

She and Dean Wood were married on January 1, 1983, in Drasco and enjoyed over thirty-nine years of marriage.

She worked in the processing plants with Banquet Foods and Conagra during her working years and was a member of Southside Church of God.  She enjoyed growing flowers, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and her family. 

Betty is survived by her husband, Dean, of the home; son, Leonard Busby, of Floral; step-sons, Daryl Wood, of Drasco, Danny Wood (Tesa), of Floral; her daughters, Trena Gee (David), of Cabot, Theresa Marshall (Tony), of Beebe; step-daughters, Pam Dillard, of Batesville, Melinda Laster (Otto) of Heber Springs; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bobby and Billy Killion, a sister, Robbie Erwin, and a granddaughter, Hope.

A Graveside service will be Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Floral, with Bro. Don Clark and Bro. Dean Querry officiating.

A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
