Charlotte Raye Waggoner

Charlotte Raye Kinsey Waggoner, 81, of Southside, Arkansas, passed away on April 9, 2022. She was born to parents Alfred Ray Kinsey and Margaret Sue Gordan Kinsey, on August 8, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
 
She graduated from North Little Rock Ole Main in 1958 and while attending UALR, she married Joe Waggoner and had 3 children: Greg (deceased), Glenn, and Angie during their 17 year marriage.  She was also formally married to Dwight Langston of North Carolina.  She later married Rodney Price of Batesville and had a stepson: Mike Price (wife Shannon).
 
Charlotte worked as an Administrative Secretary for the State of Arkansas for 23 years: Dept of Human Services (15 years) and Arkansas Rehabilitation Services (8 years). She retired in 2001.
 
She found great joy in creating beautiful oil paintings, playing the piano and organ, playing bridge, playing computer games with friends, going on cruises and cooking. She had a great love for animals and spending time with family. 
 
Charlotte is survived by two of her children: Glenn Waggoner (wife Vicky) and Angie Coleman (husband David) and was preceded in death by her oldest son, Greg Waggoner and her parents, Alfred Ray Kinsey and Margaret Sue Gordon Kinsey.
 
She is survived by 14 grandchildren: Greg’s children: Matt Starnes (wife Lana), Erica Cowger (husband Cory), and April Mealler;  Glenn’s children: Joey (wife Brittany), Kimi, Taby, Katherine, Summer, Savannah, Montana, Santana and Destinee Waggoner; Angie’s children: Joshua and Andrew Coleman. 
 
She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren: Joey’s children: Austin and Braxton Waggoner, Eli Gunn, and Noah Waggoner; Matt’s children: Lyric and Chanson Starnes; Erica’s children: Henry Perez, Callen Cowger, and Sutton Cowger; April’s children: Bryson Mealler, Taelyn and Rylee Sandage.
 
The family has entrusted Doty Southside Funeral Service with the arrangements. A visitation is scheduled for 1:00pm on Friday, April 15th, at Doty Southside Funeral Home at 2180 Batesville Blvd. The service will begin at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Kyler Cemetary in Southside (216 Kyler Road) following the service. Tim Douglas, pastor at Southside Church of God, will officiate the ceremony.
