Denise Ann Barker

Denise Ann Barker, 50, of Cave City, passed away on September 3, 2019 at her home. She was born in Batesville on March 31,1969, to Gary Wood and Doris Mitchell Wood.

She was united in marriage to Charles Barker on February 12, 1993 in Newark, Arkansas. During her working years, Denise worked in Home Health. Denise was of the Baptist Faith. She loved Harry Potter, fishing and coloring. Denise loved her family very much and enjoyed any outings with her family.

Denise is survived by her husband, Charles Barker; daughters, Brittany (Zachary) Scott of Cave City and Jennifer (Kevin) Perez of Batesville; grandchildren, River Scott, Skylar Scott, Kody Scott all of Cave City, Karmen Perez, Jesus Madrigal, Kevin Perez and Avery Perez all of Batesville; brothers, David (Margaret) Wood of Salado, Allen (Kim) Wood of Southside,  Gary Wood of Newark and Greg (Rhonda) Wood of Charlotte and sisters, Lori (Chuckie) Doyle of Batesville and Diana (James) Martin of Cave City. 

Services will be Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Doty Southside Funeral Service Chapel in Southside with Bro. Brian Combee officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sulphur Rock Cemetery in Sulphur Rock. 

Pallbearers include: Chuckie Doyle, Justin Doyle, Tanner Doyle, Zach Scott, Silvio Madrigal and Darrell Dahme

Honorary Pallbearers include: Jr. Mitchell and all Denise’s Brothers
