Donnie Lee Hubbard

Donnie Lee Hubbard, 71, of Locust Grove, departed this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

He was born in Newport, Arkansas on July 1, 1950, to Willie Lee Hubbard and Ruth Parrish Emory.

Donnie was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside. He retired after thirty-two years of working for Ind. Co. Cable TV.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and horses. He loved to stay busy and do those “honey-dos” for his wife. His children will always remember he would text “love dad” after every text he sent.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home;  sons, Matthew Hubbard, of Desha, Bryan Hubbard, of Newark, Brandon Emmons, of Batesville; daughters, Rachel Conner, of Citronelle, Alabama, Christy Harbin, of Mobile, Alabama; his brother, Steve Hubbard, of Newark; sister, Sharron (Marcus) Grady, of Thida; six grandchildren, Victoria, Cheyanne, Haley, Dalton, Alexis, Alex; seven great granddaughters; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.
