Eddie Lee Sullivan

A time to be born….

Eddie Lee Sullivan was born May 31, 1950, to the union of Will and Ethel Sullivan in Elaine, Arkansas.

A time to grow….

Eddie received his education in the state of Arkansas. Eddie did not pursue higher education but instilled in his children that knowledge gives you opportunity. Soon he ventured to Chicago where he served three years with the United State Marine Corps and then served as a police officer.

A time to love….

In Chicago, Eddie’s passion to grow a family started with the birth of Antoinette, Lamont, and Edward Sullivan. On December 8, 1988, Eddie married his (former) wife, Doris Madison-Norman. To this union three children were born, Kristian, Gabrielle, and Eddie Jr.

A time to Mourn….

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, Eddie’s spirit was called home. Both parents Will J. and Ethel L. Sullivan; his brother, Henry Sullivan and his sister, Annie Bell Williams preceded him in death.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Antoinette of Oakland, California, Kristian and Gabrielle, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sons, Edward and Lamont Williams both of Chicago, Illinois and Eddie Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers, Willie (Lula) of Chicago, Illinois, William and Tommy, both of Little Rock, Arkansas and four sisters, Bertha and Jean, both of Little Rock, Arkansas and Rose and Diane Sullivan.

A time to remember….

There will be a time to remember and celebrate the life of Eddie Lee Sullivan on Saturday, February 25, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas with Pastor Billy Burris officiating. Repast will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Matthew 11:28 - 30

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
