Gifford Paul Jeffery

Gifford Paul Jeffery, 78, of Batesville, departed this life on Thursday, February 6, 2025. He was born on March 11, 1946, in Batesville to Robert and Ruth Wallis Jeffery.

Gifford worked as a security guard for the Eastman Chemical Company which made specialty chemicals in Batesville.  He loved all types of music and enjoyed playing the guitar. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sylvia Carpenter Jeffery, of the home; sons, Aaron (Gena) Jeffery and Zach (Morgan) Jeffery; daughter, Samantha (Frank) Hamann; sister, Gwen Wilson; brother, Steve (Diane) Jeffery; grandchildren, Asa (America), Ambrose, Ava, Zach, Galen, Graysen, Gaige; stepchildren, Alan (Karen), Todd (Paula), Dorinda (Shelby), Michael (Morgan); eleven step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and many friends.

Gifford is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carrie Sue Tipton.
