Jerry Lynn Kimbrough

Jerry Lynn Kimbrough, 71, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born on July 16, 1952, to the late Silas and Mary (Carnett) Kimbrough in Manila, Arkansas. 

He was united in marriage to Crystal Knapp in Kennett, Missouri, in 1972. During his working years, Jerry worked for Arkansas Glass Container in Jonesboro for many years then for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Jerry loved sports but especially liked Razorback football. He enjoyed music and had a great love for animals. Jerry’s favorite pastime was sitting and smoking. 
 
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Crystal Kimbrough; son, Keith Kimbrough and wife Jill; grandchildren, Megan McMillin, Ryne Kimbrough, Keegan Kimbrough, Logan Kimbrough and Henry Kimbrough and sisters, Debbie Kramer and husband Tommy and Wanda Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Kimbrough and parents.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Doty Southside Funeral Service Chapel in Southside. The visitation will be prior beginning at 1:00 P.M.

Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery in Southside.
