Joseph Edward Jones

Joseph Edward Jones, 52, of Southside, departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his home.   He was born on December 22, 1971, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Gary and Dorothy Mae Kellem Jones.

Joseph was a truck driver during his working years.  He loved NASCAR and the Kansas City Chiefs. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Peggie, of the home: his sons, Joseph Kaide (Fecility) Jones, of Cave City, and Cody (Emily) Stover, of Heber Springs; his daughters, Kaitlyn (Lannie) Looney, of Cave City, and Ashley (Teren Bunch) Phipps, of Batesville; his sister, Lisa Berdeja, of Batesville; his grandchildren, Paul, Paisley, Estelle, Foster, Korea, Cayden, Xaida, Beau, Casey, and Jacob, his nieces, Taylar Love, Tosha Crawford, Tiffany Harris, and Trisha Arnold; his nephews, Garryson Berdeja, and Brandyn Berdeja. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Gary, and a sister, Lola Adams.

A Time of Celebration will be Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service with Bro. Jerome Jolly officiating.
