Joyce Ivon Baldridge

Joyce Ivon Baldridge, 84, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, August 17, 2023, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born in Newport, Arkansas, on July 28, 1939, the daughter of Luke and Mary Estella (Eubanks) Grady. Joyce was united in marriage to Noel Baldridge on September 7, 1962, in Newport, Arkansas. Joyce was employed with Southwestern Bell for 25 years, White River Medical Center as a telephone operator for 26 years and Walmart for 20 years in the snack bar and apparel departments. She was a member of the Desha Church of Christ and loved attending church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and called them her favorites.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Noel Baldridge of Batesville, Arkansas; son, Bryce and wife Amber of Jonesboro, Arkansas; daughter, Britney Carter of Batesville, Arkansas; sisters, Jackie Thompson of Newport, Arkansas and Shelia Millikin and husband Steve of Southside, Arkansas; brother, Alan "Skeeter" Grady of Newport, Arkansas; grandchildren, Easton Baldridge, Grayson Carter, John Alan Carter and Ellie Kate Baldridge and special nieces and nephews, Melody Keller and husband Rick, Jace and Stacy Millikin and their children Cal, Cam and Scout and Rusty and Laura Keller and their children Lainey and Rhett  and Seth Keller; host of nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don Grady and Duane Grady.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Southside Church of Christ in Southside, Arkansas, with Bro. Spencer Furby officiating.
