Katelyn Marie Hodges

Katelyn Marie Hodges, 21, of Batesville, departed this life on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born in Burlington, Iowa on August 28, 2000, to Matthew Hodges and Christy Fye.

Katelyn loved life. She always had a smile and never met a stranger. She was outgoing and will be missed greatly. She enjoyed writing and drawing as a hobby.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arabella Daugherty and grandfather, Virgil Fye.

Katelyn is survived by her mother, Christy Fye, of Southside; her father, Matthew Hodges, of Fort Dodge, Iowa; a sister, Kelsey Hodges, of Southside; brothers, Chad Connelly (Savannah), of Batesville, and Trystn DeMoss, of Southside; her grandparents, Michael and Cathy Brown, of Burlington, Iowa; grandmother, Becky Fye, of Burlington, Iowa; and a nephew, Grayson Burleson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, Southside, Arkansas 72501 to assist with funeral expenses.
