Lois Margarette Partee

Lois Margarette Guynes Partee, 86, of Batesville, departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in Batesville.  She was born on February 14, 1938, to Carter and Dorothy Marie Gray Guynes.  Lois was a member of Flatwood Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.

She and Curtis Partee were married on January 22, 1955, in Moro, Arkansas and enjoyed over sixty-eight years of marriage until his death in 2023. Together they lived on the farm and enjoyed working with cattle.

During her lifetime she worked for several area schools in the school cafeteria as a cook. She loved cooking and also enjoyed sewing. 

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert "Bob" Partee, of Batesville, and Thomas Partee, of Salado; her daughters, Pam Harrison, of Mountain View, and Diane (Barry) Kirkland, of Malvern, Arkansas; two sisters, Virginia Simpson, of Greenwood; and Linda (Royce) Webb, of Locust Grove; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis; a grandson, Daniel; a brother, Norris Guynes; and a sister, Verna Kelly.
