Maria Teresa Brock

Maria Teresa Brock, 51, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, ascended to heaven to be with the Lord and her baby boy on Sunday, October 23,2022.  She was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on February 10, 1971, to Everardo Berber and Teresa Garcia Berber.

Teresa was a very loving and cherished wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and friend.  She loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as a beautiful person and amazing cook.  She loved and had a passion in arts and crafts, decorating, and making sure everyone else was happy. She enjoyed spending time playing games and being with family. Her children said she was a great “jokester” who loved to pay pranks on them. 

She is survived by her husband, Doug, of the home; sons, Douglas Shawn Brock (Bethany), of Heber Springs, Lucian Scott Brock, of Pleasant Plains; daughters, Ashley Dawn Edwards, of Pleasant Plains, Sara Sophia Brock, of Pleasant Plains; her mother, Teresa Berber, of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Daniel Berber, of Atlanta, Georgia, Everardo Berber, of Pleasant Plains, Sergio Berger, of Mexico; sisters, Sandra Berber, of Atlanta, Georgia, Lulu Berber, of Atlanta, Georgia, Sara Moreno, of San Antonio, Texas, Sylvia Berber, of Brownsville, Texas; one grandchild, Erika Elizabeth Brock; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father, son, Robert Berber Brock, grandchildren, De Angelo Brock, and Khalia Edwards.

Visitation for Teresa will be Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of  Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd., Southside.

Funeral Service will be Friday, October 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd. Southside, with Bro. Don Pettit officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Freeman, Terrance Robinson, Austin Passmore, Dylan Brock, John Brock, and Thomas Stroud.

Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.
