Mark Edward Williams

Mark Edward Williams, 71, of Batesville, departed this life on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Batesville. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 28, 1953, to Cecil Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Lauderdale) Williams.  

Throughout his lifetime he worked in various factories which included Caldwell Container and companies which sterilized medical equipment.  

Mark and Johnnie Frank Lee were married at Lake Poinsett on October 10, 2010, and enjoyed several years of marriage.

He will be remembered for loving good cooking, fishing, and swimming.  Mark loved to tell jokes and found enjoyment in his work.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie, of the home; his daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Held, of Brighton, Tennessee; his sons, Matthew (Allison) Williams, of Cabot, Arkansas, Joseph (Beth) Williams, of Brighton, Tennessee, and Mark Williams, of Marion, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Tyler, Faith, Seth, Elliott, Issac, Savanna, Kathryn, and Zach; five great grandchildren, Payton, Piper, Paxton, Liam, and Noah, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Glenn, David, and Johnny Williams.

A Funeral Service will be Friday, October 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Salado Baptist Church in Salado, Arkansas, with Bro. Barrett Beyer officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the Kyler Cemetery.
