Mary Esther Goodman

Mary Esther Kramer Goodman, departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Searcy, Arkansas at the Unity Health Advanced Care Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1942, in Rosie, Arkansas, to Cecil Clyde “Jack” Kramer and Genevieve Hazelrigg Kramer.

After many years of working as a beloved receptionist she retired from Pepsi Cola Corporate in Memphis,Tennessee. 

She was married to her high school sweetheart, Conley Goodman, for many years and they had two children together. Though they eventually divorced they remained friends. She was a wonderful singer and happily sang for countless funerals over the years. She loved attending church at Rosie Baptist Church where she was a member for most of her life. 

If you ever entered her home for a visit she would make sure that you were fed, even if she had to give you the food from her own plate. More than anything, she loved her family!! 

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Gene Gordon Kramer and Steve Kramer. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Conley Goodman.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Tracy Kennon, of Rosie, and Christi Goodman, of Rosie; as well as three grandchildren, Gabrielle Hill of Rosie, Dustin (Marylynne) Jones, of Oakland, Tennessee, and Conley Richie, of Clark, Colorado; three great grandchildren, Maceyn, Cameron, and Scarlett; her siblings, Bill Kramer, Beth Ligon, Tommy (Debbie) Kramer, and Bobby (Cynthia) Kramer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rosie Baptist Church on March 22, 2025 at 11:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Rosie Baptist Church or the Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home.
