Mossolene "Moss" Catherine Smith

Mossolene “Moss” Catherine Smith, 53, of Batesville departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2022.  She was born on January 5, 1969 to Norma Sue Botto in Stockton, California.  She and Kevin Smith were married in Greenbrier on October 25, 2014.

 

Moss worked in the property management business during her working years.  She loved horror movies and decorating for Halloween.  She would dress up and have a yard full of decorations. She loved movies and had an impressive collection.   Moss loved spending time with her three dogs, Mama, Sugar, and Buddy.

 

Survivors include her husband, Kevin, of the home; daughters, Susie Suitt (Jacob), of Bryant, and Casey Hanft, of Jonesboro, step-daughter, Traci Hastings (Adam) of Nashville; step-sons, Clark Smith (Jade) of Richmond, Virginia, and Grant Smith, of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers, Michael Botto, of Austin, Texas, and Johnny McGill, of Texas; sisters, Debbie Botto and Denise Osborn, both of California, Cappuccina Lowrey, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Nolan, Brodi, and Jaxton, nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

She is preceded in death by her mother.
