Myrtle Coraine Taylor

Myrtle Coraine Taylor, 80, of Batesville, departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025.  She was born on July 14, 1944, to Ode and Mary Oma Burns Taylor.  During her working years she was a CNA.

Myrtle loved to cook and go to yard sales.  Myrtle loved her family very much and her favorite flower was the rose. She loved animals and one of her favorite cats was Peaches. Her son, John, has a dog named "Bear Dog" and she enjoyed talking about him and called him "Bear Puppy" which always made John smile. Myrtle was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, John (Twyla) Taylor, of Batesville; her granddaughters, Emily Taylor and Alyssa Redington, several nieces, nephews, and family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann Womack and Mary Lee Easter; brother, Tommy Edward Taylor; and a nephew, Marcus Greenhall. 

There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.
