Olene Tishie Huskey

Olene Tishie Huskey, 92, of Strawberry, departed this walk of life on Monday, November 29, 2021, in Batesville.

She was born in Dowdy, Arkansas on October 19, 1929, to Elmer Matheny and Alie Howard Matheny.

Olene was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed farming. She married Orville Huskey and they were married for over fifty-three years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Steve Huskey, of Evening Shade; a daughter, Marilyn Huskey, of Strawberry; two sisters, Doris Sullivan (Sully), of Kansas City, Missouri, and Lorena Parr, of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Gary Huskey, Paige Huskey, Shawna Finley, and Ashely Fowler; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orville, son, Roger Huskey, three brothers, and one sister.
