Phillip Floyd Potts, 72 of Newark Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 10th 2024, at home. He was born on November 10th 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Ervin and Oleta Potts who he was proceeded in death.
He was a proud resident of Newark, Arkansas. Phillip was of Christian faith and believed that Jesus was his Lord and Savior. He specialized in brick masonry, displaying detailed work across the United States.
Phillip was a walking atlas, the highways, street names, and landmarks in Arkansas and most major cities across the states were embedded in his memory. His family and fellowship were his two biggest passions. He was a romantic at heart and not only appreciated a good poem but wrote his own. He always had the ability to make anyone smile with a kind gentle word which was usually followed by a joke or sarcastic remark then a hug.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gayle; son Shane, Charlotte, grandson Landon; son Shawn, DeeDee, grandchildren, Jordan, Shaleah, Dylan, Dalton, Moriah, Mason, Madison; great grandchildren, Cameron, Isaiah, Adalei, Evelyn, Rion, Delta; daughter Heather, Clint, and granddaughter, NayVee; sister, Kathryn Frala; sister Danita Castleberry; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and others are invited to the Blue Springs Cemetery, at 9 am on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, to reminisce, honor, and celebrate the life of Phillip Potts.
