Stanley Wayne Huffman

Stanley Wayne Huffman, 68, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Little Rock.  He was born on March 7, 1955 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Gensis Lyvod Huffman and Addie Marcell (Morgan) Huffman.  

He and Bobbie Alice Mae Herron were married in Luxora, Arkansas on October 15, 1976, in the Luxora First Baptist Church.

Stanley worked on the tug boats for over fifteen years and served our country in the Army.  He was a member of the Desha First Baptist Church.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  One of his favorite times with the kids was showing  them the bird nest of baby blue birds

Stanley is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Bobbie, of the home; his daughters, Jennifer (Justin) Tindall, of Bald Knob, Tiffany (Danny) Chism, of Batesville, and Casey (Joey) Babb, of Floral; his grandchildren, Ricky, Lorraina, Rya, Alaina, Kurstin, Aiden, Tater-Bug, Kendall, and Alexis; and one great grandchild, Layla.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James.

Funeral Service will be Monday, March 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Doty Southside Funeral Service Chapel, 2180 Batesville Blvd, in Southside with Bro. Troy Sharp and Bro. Josh Swinea officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Putman Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
