Stephen Gregory

Stephen James Gregory, 65, of Batesville, departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2021.

He was born in Martin, Texas on May 14, 1956, to J.T. and Geraldine Westerman Gregory.  He married Rhonda Neble in Abilene, Texas on December 15,1978 and they enjoyed over forty-two years of marriage.

Stephen loved his family dearly. He loved guns, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He collected Indian artifacts, arrowheads, and coins. He enjoyed going to pawn shops, auctions, and antique shops.   He owned and operated Three Feathers Trading Post and was a wood maker during his working years.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Gregory of the home: his sons, Jason Earl Gregory (Brandy) of Pleasant Plains, James Melvin Bud Gregory (Crystal) of Batesville, Jacob Allen Gregory (Jennifer) of Batesville; daughters, Amanda Thompson (Jason) of Batesville, Winter Gregory (Josh Carter) of Batesville, Summer Gregory, of Batesville, Alyssa Gregory, of Batesville, Sara Gregory, of Batesville; one brother, Dale  Barker, of Texas; sister, Carolyn Gilmore, of Odesa, Texas; nine grandchildren, Kaleb, Shaylee, Cameron, Mason, JR, Abby, Adalynn, Abram, Ervin; and two great grandchildren, Carson, and Tatum.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Jaye Beth Gregory.

A Memorial Service will be held for immediate family.
