Vivian Mae Ciesielski

October 5, 1946 — February 17, 2025

Batesville

Vivian Ciesielski, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 78. While her role as a mother was complex, her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved and spoiled with great enthusiasm by whatever means possible.

Vivian was born on October 5, 1946, in Malvern, Arkansas, the daughter of May and Jack Causey and J. C. Galloway.  She began her journey as a dedicated military wife and beautician before forging her own path as a long haul truck driver for twelve years.  After moving to Batesville she joined ConAgra where she worked for over twenty years. She retired in 1997.

While enjoying retirement she embraced life with a hard, fast, and independent spirit. She found joy in gardening, nurturing vibrant flowers and house plants that brightened our home. Additionally, she devoted countless hours to crocheting special items for her family and friends, each piece a labor of love that showcased her thoughtfulness and skill.

Vivian’s adventurous nature and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She loved spending time with family whether she was gardening, crocheting, or going to the lake with her daughters.  She loved being outdoors!

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Laura Draper (Brian Groves), Dava and Danielle Eisenbeiss; her brother, Lee Galloway; her cherished grandchildren, Savanna Draper (Brady Ellis), Daniel Draper, and Zack (Rachel) Groves; her beloved great grandchildren, Ashten Renfrow, Layla Hill, Aaron Draper, and Cheryce Draper; whose she adored and spoiled with great affection.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Galloway and her sister, Peggy Galloway.

A Celebration of Life will be in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service on March 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
