Wilbur Theadore Furrow, 53 of Pleasant Plains, departed this life on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock. He was born on December 30, 1970, in Batesville, AR to Lavern Furrow and Blanche Louise (Lamb) Furrow.
Wilbur was a loving Christian husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. He was a managerial employee of Custom Craft Poultry in Batesville for several years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed farm work, tending to horses and cattle, and being outdoors in his past time. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing softball. His children remember him coaching the baseball leagues, teaching them how to ride horses, bikes, and four wheelers, giving piggy back rides, being the best wrestler, playing video games, and making his all famous coke floats.He was a kind, generous son, brother, uncle, and friend as well. He will be remembered as a loving, Christian husband and daddy who loved his family and friends dearly.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary, of the home; his sons, Dustin (Shaleah) of Pleasant Plains, Nicholas Furrow, of Batesville, Skyler (Kaitlyn) Furrow, of Pleasant Plains, Wilbur Furrow II, of the home, Bentlee Furrow of the home; his daughters, Samantha (Randall) Scott, of Calamine, Amber Wagster (Alex), of Huntington, West Virginia, Elisabeth Wagster, of Tupelo Mississippi, and Madison Furrow, of the home; his brothers Rusty (Carolyn) Story, of Mountain Home, and Tony (Debbie) Story of Medina, Ohio; his sisters, Pat Farrar, of Pleasant Plains, and Linda (Keith) Tharp, of Floral; ten grandchildren, Gage, Casen, Jace, Ava, Caleigh, Nash, Connor, Tucker, Elijah, and Avery; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. Brother Glen Knabe and Brother Larry Sellers officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Furrow, Nicholas Furrow, Skyler Furrow, Chris Tharp, Greg Huckabee, Steve Lewis, and Harold Passmore.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Sellers and employees of Custom Craft Poultry.
Visitation will be Monday June 10, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ.
