Xavier Danielle (Danny) Wells

Xavier Danielle (Danny) Wells, 54, departed this life on January 11, 2022. He was born in Batesville on October 6, 1967, to Cledice Neely and Mary Sue Wells.

He loved to cook, grill, watch basketball, football, and dance. During his working years he cooked for various restaurants including Lyon College, Bonanza, and Colton’s. Danny will be remembered as a family man who loved his family very much.

Danny is survived by his children, Deryk Ford, Latonya Wells, Danielle Conley, Jacob Wells; brothers, Angelo Neely, Tommy Neely, Christopher Neely; sisters, Wisteria Wells, Sheila Avant, Angela Crawford, Veatrice Crawford, Angela Neely, Tracy Neely, Regina Neely Green, Carol Neely, Jacqueline Anderson, Rachel Rucker, Madison Neely, Krystal Wells; grandchildren, Keyatis, Chloe, Justice, Chase, Zoriah, Avieanna, Sa’Brea, Skyler, Armoni, Jasmine; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shelly Jones.

A Memorial Service will be at Friendship Baptist Church at a later date.
